  • MDF14 Frontal Kit. Front axle with varying reactive caster and caster designed to provide excellent cornering to the 2016 MDF14. Thanks to the assembly system by guides, a wide range of adjustments for the reaching the desired caster is possible, without the need of changing any parts. The upper arms are designed symmetrically so that the pilot can use the parts on both sides, moreover, the pilot can optionally assemble carbon fiber reinforcements which provide greater rigidity to the arms on carpet circuits with a very high grip.   • MDF14 Steering arm. HUB 7075-T6 aluminum with anodized gold provides precise steering behavior in the curve and greater shock resistance.

  • MDF14 kit Diff. Differential balls made entirely of aluminum 7075-T6 with hard-anodized finish (hard anodized) transforms all the engine power into traction and driving stability. It is equipped with the EASY PRESS system which allows the pilot to adjust the hardness of the differential without dismantling any part of the car, simple and fast. This differential can be used on all models with the 6mm diameter shaft.

  • Easy and fast set-up on the height adjustment of the rear without dismantling the axle or wheels. By only loosening the differential axle support and tightening or loosening the height adjustment you can adjust the rear height of the chassis to the desired height, also allowing to compensate the wear of the tires.

  • The damping system MDF14 is divided into four parts working as a whole to make the MDF14’s four wheels remain in contact with the surface as long as possible to provide traction, direction and reaction. The rear suspension consists of a combination of three elements, the lateral springs, with an adjustable preload which the pilot can change opting for a different choice of springs which are more suitable to the different types of tracks. The hardness of the lateral compensator can also be changed by applying different density grease. To double the effectiveness, an optional second compensator (REFF 0251 MD compensator) can be installed.

    This will allow compensators to work both compression and expansion on both sides by providing a symmetrical behavior on both supports. The central buffer, where we have chosen to design a 50mm touring car length buffer type, allows smooth and progressive shock absorption.

  • MDF14 Servo support. The servo support, apart from being a great attraction of the MDF14 for its design and quality materials, also gives the pilot the possibility to vary the steering Ackermann, accurately covering any position wanted by the driver.

  • The MDF14 Chassis. The MDF14 is equipped with our soft chassis which transfers more torsion capacity at the edges of the curves, primarily in low or medium conditions. Torsion can be reduced through our hard top deck system (REF 0371) that can optionally be mounted for circuits with high grip conditions.

    The MDF14 chassis has been designed to configure the electronics and side links up to nine different combinations depending on the pilot need and track. The design of our chassis allows the driver to move the loads of electronics and battery throughout the chassis to provide the MDF14 with higher or lower traction as required.

    By changing the position of the side links, the pilot can adjust the steering of the MDF14 to behave in a smoother way. Placing the side links in an oblique position will make the car behave in a more reactive way than by having the links in their standard parallel position. (REF.0311), the pilot may optionally choose (REF.0967) Carbon lateral links kit, links made of 2.5mm thick carbon fiber which provide greater rigidity to the chassis assembly. As a result, the MDF14 will be more precise and direct to changes on the side supports of the curves.

    The MDF14 offers an optional chassis for carpet (0378 REF Carpet Chassis) made of 7075 T6 extremely flat and hard aluminum which gives more weight to the MDF14 causing the center of mass and stiffness to move down slightly and consequently contributing to more stiffness and composure of the MDF14 on surfaces with extreme grip conditions.

  • The MDF14 Rear chassis. Easy adjustment of the battle which, combined with MDF14 Chassis, offers up to twenty different setup positions. The pilot can extend the battle of the MDF14 to 8mm, which makes the MDF14 behave differently from its’ short position in which the car is more aggressive to full battle in which the car’s reactions are smoother and nobler.

The 1/10 Formula MDF14 is a scale model F1 car designed by and for pilots, based on the dynamic calculations of engineers who have been forged from the formula student competition where resources must be squeezed out to maximize effectiveness and dynamics. Moreover, all these attributes have been tested by our pilots during the development process in which the MDF14 has worked its way up to becoming a serious rival on the track.

The MDF14 has been designed using only high quality materials in both the manufacturing process and finishing touches to provide a meticulous and detailed presentation.

A quality product can only be achieved with a strict quality control which consists of applying strict controls to every single manufacturing process of our products. The design is not only controlled by the engineer assigned to design a piece but also to engineers, pilots and the MD racing rc management as a group, starting with the selection of materials used and ending with the thorough inspection of every piece prior to packaging. The result of such methodology is that MD racing rc has created the MDF14 2016 edition as a premium product in its sector.

The MDF14 has been designed to minimize pilot workload when it comes down to finding its ideal setup, as it has been designed to allow the pilot to set up the MDF14 easily and quickly without the need to disassemble elements of the car.
